A Mothers Love

A Mothers Love
A mothers love never dies

It cocoons and shields you while you are growing

It cushions you from all your bumps and bruises when you are falling

It smoothly wipes away your tears when you are crying

And hangs around and comforts you even when you think you are dying

It’s that cloak that you are wrapped in that offers invincibility

She’s the first one to make you think that anything is possible and that you can change the world

It’s the thing present for all major events or milestones in your life, whether it’s a graduation, birthday, or when you’ve choosen to take a husband or wife

Even if she’s not there physically, she’s still with you because she is in your heart and all around you

That feeling that you are special,

When you just know that you are loved

When you know your possibilities are endless

And just have that feeling deep inside that every thing is going to be alright

That all began with your mother’s love

So I say Thank you to all the mothers out there

But especially to my mom

Happy Mother’s Day

Just a poem

I remember the day’s when I had a whole lung for you When every breath I took I took for you

With every breath that Shook I shook for you
Seeping from my lungs next to my heart

Turning my red blood straight to black

Seeping from my heart out into my body

Consuming any chance I had to be happy

Oh my! who new, we would never be happy

Deep in thought, thinking of things of the past

How can I live like this and not retaliate

How much pain can you inflict which I can’t alleviate

I will not lie still while you ensure my destruction

Oh you know for sure there will be repercussions

Will I do it

Can I do it

Will I bear it

You know I fear it
Boom is the sound of my world shaking

Clash is the sound of my heart breaking
Can I do it

Will I do it

I will rise to the occasion, and will soar above the sky

I shall blow like a tornado and disperse them far and wide

Remember it takes a village to raise a child

A kids story!!!

There once were two sisters ,

one named Stephanie and the other was Nadia.

They loved each other like no other.

They were always together…. like two peas in a pod

They laughed, danced, and played together

Whether sunshine or stormy weather

The love they shared was indeed a true treasure

To tell the the truth, they always thought

they would be Together forever

As time went by they grew up fast

Until the day came, where they found they would now be apart

The time had come for Nadia

To go away to college and spread her wings

The morning came and Nadia left

,Stephanie went to her room and wept and wept

She cried herself to sleep that night

Because you see her very best friend had left her behind

Stephanie was so depressed and lonely

She stopped doing the things she used to do

She no longer laughed, or played or danced

A matter of fact all she did was cry

1 day became 2 days became 3days became 4

And one week because 2 weeks became 3 weeks became 4

Cry cry cry, all she did was cry

After what seemed like months of crying

One evening upon returning home from school

Stephanie was sitting in the sofa, just watching some TV

She had had a busy day st school , and had just finished her home work. She was in one of her peculiar moods, where she now missed Nadia so very very much.

the tears were at risk of making an appearance again but

Just then she noticed, that there was something strange by the window

She moved closer to get a better look

But she couldn’t see clearly

what was by the window she wondered

She moved just a little closer and just then she saw something swing back and forth

Swish,swash, and a swish and a swash

So quickly that she still couldn’t tell what it was

Swish swash and a swish and a swash

To her surprise when she got close enough to see

What she saw was a tail growing from the window

Swinging back and forth with a swish and a swash, wiggling and swirling and sometimes just curling

Stephanie took a moment to observe the scene, and just started laughing laughing and laughing

The tail was so joyful, and happy you see

That Stephanie couldn’t help but join in and be merry

She got close enough to see what would happen

But the tail just kept swinging and swishing and swashing

She patted and smoothed and pampered her new tail

Which was just delighted at her touch

It wiggled and twirled with each touch it received

In this moment it just seemed to make Stephanie complete

Each day Stephanie looked forward to coming home from school

She just couldn’t wait to come home and play with her new friend the tail

Days became weeks became months after months

And Stephanie couldn’t remember a time she was happier

The pain she felt after Nadia went away, is now just a dull ache thanks to her new tail
